We accept all insurance, including Medicaid & CHIP, and cash or check payments. However, if you are not insured or unable to pay for services, your child will not be turned away. At Lubbock Children's Health Clinic, you and your children have options because we care for all kiddos.

Co-payments are expected at the time of your visit but we understand times can be hard, especially as a parent. If you are not insured or experiencing financial hardships, we offer several self-pay options to make payments based on a sliding fee scale.

Applications and eligibility meetings are available at each of our locations. Ask how your family can benefit from these important resources today!

HISTORY

As a pediatric clinic, Lubbock Children's Health Clinic is focused on acute and preventive care for all children served. Preventive care is very important in assessing a child's health when they are not ill. This allows our nurse practitioners the opportunity to determine if the child has any delays in development, nutritional risks, or other a risk conditions.

Preventative health care means taking steps to prevent diseases, illness, and injuries rather than treating the symptoms. Preventive visits include physical exams, sports physicals, developmental screening, nutritional evaluations, vision and hearing screening, health education, laboratory testing, and immunizations.

RACIAL EQUALITY

Black lives matter to Lubbock Children's Health Clinic. Black people have been discriminated against, disregarded, devalued, and targeted by our society. At Lubbock Children's Health Clinic, we share a proud history of service and inclusion. For over 80 years we have never turned away a child because of the color of their skin.

Every black child, and every black child's family has mattered to us, they always will. As Lubbock Children's Health Clinic embarks on the next 80 years of service, we look forward to providing the very best health care to every black child that comes through our doors.

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
